We are hearing that Chevrolet sent out their 2023 Corvette Z06 allocation numbers and constraints to dealers this morning. We believe May’s allocations to be the second-to-last ordering cycle for the 2023 model year Corvettes, but that still remains to be seen.

We have seen an increase in the number of aero packages that have been granted previously, but our concern this month appears to be over the 70th Anniversary packages. We learned last week that the 70th Anniversary Model was on partial constraint for the Stingrays and that appears to be continuing with the Z06 models. Most of the dealers we talk with are keeping their allocation numbers close to the chest, but overall we have been told that the quantities are most welcomed!

Earlier this month, Chevrolet tweaked the ordering for Z06s to allow dealer stock orders to be eligble for R8C Museum Deliveries as well as have the R6X Custom Interior Trim and Seat Combinations. Chevy ended Customer Sold Orders on April 5th and is only accepting Dealer Stock Orders for the rest of the model year.

Despite any 70th Anniversary constraints, the production numbers still show the anniversary special edition being produced with 97 new Z06 70th Anniversary models built since May 1st. Chevrolet has now produced over 437 70th Anniversary Z06s during the model year. We are hoping that Chevy will continue to build the 70th Annniversary models for both Z06 and Stingray all the way through the close of the 2023 model year on September 1st.

As far as regular Z06 production goes, we are still seeing very good numbers. Since May 1st, Chevy has completed 374 new regular Z06s and approximately 2,281 regular Z06s have been produced during the 2023 model year.

  1. Yeah, screw the people who have patiently been on a waiting list for 2 to 3 years, we’ll just sell to the highest bidder. I’am glad the old time GM executives aren’t around to see what a disgrace this company has become. They appreciated and respected the customer. This group is disgusting.

  2. Yup who cares! What about the Z06 engine noise issue? I’ll enjoy my 19 Stingray I bought on sale!
