The National Corvette Museum’s new Director of Marketing and Communications will use his passionate storytelling ability and more than two decades of wide-ranging experience to help spread the Kentucky facility’s message around the world.
Ryan Eichler will join the NCM on May 22.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Ryan Eichler and his vast experience and energy to our talented marketing team at the National Corvette Museum,” NCM President and CEO Sharon Brawner said. “Eichler will, no doubt, be an asset to both our museum and our community.”
According to the museum, Eichler prides himself on being a storyteller with a passion for building compelling narratives and comes to Bowling Green with a deep background in earned media relations, staff and team development, reputation management, and digital and social-first content.
Most recently, Eichler was a Senior Vice President at PR agency FleishmanHillard, overseeing public relations for the U.S. Army Recruiting Command and Novo Nordisk accounts. Previously, he worked for more than a decade at global public relations firm Weber Shandwick, where he led marketing communications for a wide range of companies, including General Motors, Verizon, Anheuser-Busch, and Unilever.
Eichler has extensive experience in the automotive world, overseeing Weber Shandwick’s Motorsports Practice, where he built and managed a team focused on NASCAR, IndyCar, and F1 activation. He helped launch NASCAR’s first “Glampground” experience at Kentucky Motor Speedway for M&M’s Racing, which sold out in less than 20 minutes. He’s also been involved in athlete and sponsorship counsel and activation for clients with a presence in the NBA, PGA, MLS, NBA, NFL, and NCAA football.
Eichler began his career at agencies MSL and Cramer-Krasselt, along with supporting Harley-Davidson’s product communication team.
