The driver of this blue C5 Corvette coupe certainly started the New Year with a bang.
Check out the video and photos of his car after it ran down a steep embankment and into a creek on Bridle Road near Johnson Hills Park in Anderson Township, Ohio on New Year’s afternoon.
Anderson Township firefighters were called to the scene about 2:30 p.m., finding the Corvette several hundred feet off the road and resting between the walls of a concrete drain.
They had to remove part of the car to extricate the driver, then use a Stokes basket and rope system to get the driver to safety.
No word on the condition of the driver.
Though we don’t have any video of the extrication of the Corvette, we’re sure it was quite a task to bring it back up the embankment.
