Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
After last week’s excursion out to Spring Mountain and seeing 54 customers go through the Corvette Owner’s School, Mike’s work week was shorter than usual, but the Corvette seller still managed to share these photos of customers taking deliveries of their new Corvettes and other vehicles! Mike also had a visit from a previous customer and shows off a few gifts received and more. ~Going back 20 +years I was managing a small country dealership that had terrific 3rd generation owners that I had tremendous respect for, especially to thrive in the car business in a small farming community. It was a perfect fit as I was raised in an extremely small town with similar values and traditions. I had my best friend Paul print some shirts and one of them was scooped up by my next door neighbor Tim. Fast forward to this Summer and Tim sent me his Vacation pics wearing the 20 year old tee shirt I had gifted him two decades ago. Which got me thinking and I once again called Paul to see if he still had the tee shirt screens and artwork? Yes was the answer and he printed me a couple dozen which I gave out at Carlisle. Paul switched dealership names and the year in which they started. Boom! See the pics of Tim in his Damascus shirt and my lucky couple of dozen I handed out at the Corvettes of Carlisle event. I hope I don’t see these rare Corvette shirts on EBAY!
Mission accomplished for Air Gray! (Ken’s license plate is Air Gray) Always good to see my Corvette friends. 26,000 miles and counting on their 2020 Corvette. I’ve hosted Corvette clubs from as far away as Norway, Puerto Rico and Buffalo, NY…and it’s always fun for all…myself included as I am a Corvette enthusiast first and foremost.
~Kris C. of Grand Blanc, Michigan factory ordered his Caffeine metallic 2023 Corvette Z51 coupe with Natural/black two tone interior from me and I had it drop shipped to his local Chevrolet dealership in Birch Run, Michigan. Equipment list: 2LT pkg, GT2 buckets, front lift, bright red calipers, black exhaust tips, Stingray R appearance pkg, high wing spoiler and much more! Kris is already signed up for my Corvette Furman Owner’s school in Pahrump, Nevada.

‘Just wanna say a huge “THANKS!” and a shout-out to the editorial board for the stunning parade of pics in this edition… I love looking back over the wondrous lifetime of the Corvette in all its incarnations.
Chevy introduced the Corvette just a handful of years after I was introduced to the world… so I have grown up loving Corvettes ever since I saw my first one as a child. It has never disappointed and it never will. My favorite generation remains the C2, partly because my first Corvette was a 1966 roadster (Silver Pearl inside an’ out – ‘pretty rare!).
Thanks again for the memories this particular edition of CorvetteBlogger evoked for me!

My favorite is the black C3 Coupe by the lake. I also like the two pics of the cool looking lime green C3. I could do without the wedding couple in the pics though so you could see the entire car!
