The annual NCM Bash kicks off on Thursday, and we are already here in Bowling Green for the big event. One of the reasons we always come in the day before is to hopefully catch the new cars without the anticipated crowds expected and we weren’t disappointed to see several Z06 show cars stepping out of the Intercity auto transport right as we pulled in.

Also making their first show appearance are the 2023 Corvette 70th Anniversary Stingrays offered in White Pearl Metallic Tri-Coat and Carbon Flash Metallic – along with optional stripes, exclusive wheel designs with Edge Red Stripes, Edge Red calipers, and 70th Anniversary exterior badging.

Lucky for us we were able to capture both new exteriors for the 2023 Anniversary Editions in the full sun and they look spectacular as expected. The White Pearl is somewhat understated, meaning you have to get within a few feet to see the metallic in the paint. The Carbon Flash Metallic is another story as you can it popping off from a distance. Both look great and we can confirm that both were built with saleable VINs.

We were also somewhat surprised by the new optional stripe packages for the car. While I was expecting the White Pearl version to be much like the 60th Anniversary model, these are much more subtle and you can almost say they are “ghost stripes” for how light they are.

Inside the cars are the new two-tone Ceramic Leather GT2 or Competition Seats, red stitching, red seatbelts, and sueded microfiber steering wheel and dash. There is also a 70th Anniversary interior badge on the speaker grill which appears on all Corvettes whether they are 70th editions or not.

So what do you think of these new special editions. Do you have one on order? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. So is it expected that the optional full-length stripes on the black version will be similarly faint?

  2. I tried the visualizer many times for the 70th anniv. in black but was disappointed with the lack of options to add red accents and change out the interior. I decided against the anniv. build.

  3. Did you happen to get a picture of the new 2023 wheels in the bright silver on the red corvette next to the anniversary corvettes?

  4. So will this nonsense package be available before or after the 10,000 of us who have put deposits down on the Z06 find out where our cars are

  5. Don’t care for the 70th wheels at all, and the rest of the Anniversary package is forgettable, so it’s not for me. I’ll be going with the Stingray R option on my ’23.

  6. Keith, the visualizer shows the petal whit version with black mirrors and black spoiler. These pics show body color for both. Also the interior on these pics show more white on dash trim that visualizer. Can you sort that out with Chevy guys?

  7. 2023 order input & pushed to event code 2000 for a 2023 HTC / White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat / 70th Anniversary Package / Z51 / FE3 / Front Lift / Batt Protection Package / Interior Carbon Fiber Trim / Stealth Interior Trim Package / GT2 / High Wing Spoiler Carbon Flash / Custom Splash Guards / 70th Anniversary Satin Matrix Gray Full Length Racing Stripes / Edge Red Calipers / Exhaust Tips Black. None of this dealerships “6” allocations were available to order with the FE4 option. Order at event code 3000 currently.

  8. Well, Vettes are just fantastic in any color. Personally, the black looks grey or as if it were not clean and dark colors, while they look ominous, seem to hide the lines. In less than perfect lighting they seem to blend in so much as being almost invisible. For my taste, the new white is too glaring, at least in the sun. Perhaps more pearlescent beads or flakes, or even a subtle grey added. I currently have the silver mist, which appears almost white in bright sun but picks up reflected color from the surrounding objects which enhance the lines, gives it depth. The metallic flakes add to the perspective. We all have our preferences, and are partial to certain colors, but any Vette is a delight to enjoy or own. TY everyone for sharing.

  9. Lucky enough to have 2 white 70th Editions with silver stripes on order..Should I change and get the black one, I will have to see it first.. Still time .. Both not my 1st Choice , but I have the first round of the 70th whenever they start building, My goal is a Z-06, and there will be more people wanting these anniversary models than me, so I put another deposit down on another 2023, I got to see all the colors and The Blue Silver and Red Metallic are my choices.. Wife likes the red I personally like the Blue, she hates it, and the silver always looks awesome… Life’s been good to me so far !
