[SPIED] 2023 Corvette Z06 with Z07 Hits Up a Wendy's for Lunch

Right across the street from the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky is a Wendy’s fast food restaurant and that’s where someone caught sight of a Hypersonic Gray 2023 Corvette Z06.

By our count, this is only the second un-camouflaged Z06 spied in the wild since the car’s reveal a month ago. The first was a Torch Red Z06 spied in Detroit earlier this month.

We came across these images of the Hypersonic Gray Z06 Coupe from our favorite agent provocateur on the Corvette Forum, aka Corvette_Nut, and yet the tough crowd over there can only complain how horrible the photos are which must have come from an aging boomer’s flip phone. But I’m digressing here…

The 2023 Z06 looks great in Hypersonic Gray as I predicted with my Blogger Build which featured the same exterior color and the new full Adrenaline Red interior. This Z06 has two-tone red/black seats but that is about as much as we can see of the interior. On the outside, the Corvette is wearing the Z07 Performance Package with the optional visible carbon fiber wheels and Edge Red calipers.

You almost want to yell “slow down” as the car looks fast even while standing still!

The 2023 Corvette Z06s will start production in early May 2022 with the first orders officially accepted at the end of March. Pricing has yet to be announced but members of the Corvette have suggested that it will be familiar to Corvette owners.

Thanks again to the Corvette_Nut for sharing these pics!!

  1. The more interesting the engine compartment the more the ICE will be compared favorably to the EV. You know the difference between a Cassio IronMan and Rolex watches, which of coarse there is none other than they keep time.

  2. Car looks like a toy. I’m sure it’s fast, but so is my C6 Z06 and it looks like a Corvette, not something out of a “Hot Wheels” box.

  3. Tough crowd here. I’ve seen the Z06 at two different venues now, and it looks fantastic in person.

  4. Hey Ronnie, you know that a lot of people hate the looks of the C6 and believe that the last real Corvette was a C2. When the C6 came out, there were a lot of haters for that generation, most complaining that “it didn’t have hidden headlights”, “the car is ugly”, “real Corvette’s have chrome bumpers”, the list goes on, it seems to happen to every new generation and here you are hating on this one, SMH. I own a C2 and my wife has a C6, i think this C8 is one of the best looking Corvettes ever produced, I am not afraid of change.

  5. I love the C8 Corvette and have a 2022 Hypersonic Grey Metallic coupe on order. You get a great super sports car for a very fair price. I saw a Red Ferrari in town this week and to tell you the truth, the C8 has some similar lines but has a more aggressive look.
