Following the official reveal of the 2020 Corvette Stingray Convertible on Wednesday evening, the stage was reset for Thursday’s public reveals to those visiting the Kennedy Space Center’s Visitor’s Complex.
Led again by Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter, the Corvette Team pulled the covers and allowed the gathered enthusiasts some great views of the new Corvette Stingray convertibles that were shining brightly under the Florida sun.
Unlike the press reveals, one of the convertible tops was up so we get a great look at the profile of the hardtop convertible as well as its unique rear window.
Side by side with the new Convertible Stingrays was the new Corvette Racing C8.R race car. America is still building rockets!

I can quite handle that rose colored orange interior on the Silver C8.. the interior designer must of been color blind.

To my knowledge Corvette has never offered an orange color interior option. Lighting may change the appearance as it lists two variations of red for the C-8. Some owners have only favored black with red interiors. I have owned a 67 coupe, white with red leather and currently a 63 coupe, red on red. Over used exterior color but my personal favorite interior color will always remain a shade of red.
That blue is great. So now the “vert” is a hard top vert…wonder how much weight is added? I’d stick with the removable top coupe for the c8.
The C8 looks pretty dam good!
By the way its actual Chevrolet designation is “Edge Red”, Think European market and all the cars produced from that part of the world and then think every color should be pastel in nature. No real true colors just shades of real colors.
77 pounds more for the convertible is what I read.
It’s red… Not rose, not orange. Poor camera response… Don’t get your panties in a wad.
