Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for October 4

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Our friend Mike Furman is out west this week as he begins a number of classes with his customers at the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain. Before he left, he had an E-Ray owner drop off some goodies while their car underwent service at Criswell and he delivered a new Grand Sport Convertible to an Alabama customer. And finally, we have a roundup of classic photos for your viewing. As you have seen over the last couple of weeks, we are now defaulting to his Facebook collection for the vintage and throwback photos, and it was decision not made lightly or for convenience.

~I flew out of Maryland Friday morning very early and landed in Nevada in record time. Then I drove my Enterprise rental SUV over the Mountain from Las Vegas to Pahrump, Nevada as I’m here for 8 days hosting 55 of my Corvette clients that travel in from all over the globe to take the Corvette Owners school with me. The fun has only just begun for my 56th, 57th and 58th Ron Fellows Corvette Owners’ Schools that I’ve hosted for my clients. Stay tuned!

~Leeann and Clay have bought several Corvettes from me as I’ve known them since 2002. Clay brought in Leeann’s 2026 Blade Silver Eray Convertible today for service. Leeann had baked some goodies and now I have an empty Tupperware! She is a great Chef! They both have been to Spring Mountain with me 3 times so it’s always nice to visit with them both. Clay was in and out for Service in under an hour and then he wrote the following and posted on the Mid Engine Corvette Forum. Thank you both for the friendship.

“It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since we took delivery of our ’26 E-Ray, which we custom-ordered through Mike Furman. This is our 3rd Corvette ordered from Mike.

Folks who shied away from the E-Ray due to “E-Phobia” have no idea what they are missing. AWD on the C8 platform is nothing short of miraculous, and it seems that a simple name change to GSX (along the ZR1X) may be successful in changing uninformed perceptions. The seamless integration of ICE and electric power is miraculous in the way torque is transferred between front and rear as required, and all you feel is the extra grip when you need it on the front wheels. It is tremendously confidence-inspiring when pushing hard on twisty roads, along with mind-bending acceleration with no loss of grip. If you weren’t aware that there was an electric motor involved, you would have no idea because the feeling is that you’re driving a pure ICE supercar.

I’m used to red carpet service, having owned several Porsches and other nice cars, but Criswell provides the same level of service on Corvettes. Dina B. and her team of certified Corvette techs have been 100% excellent in all of my service visits over 4 Corvettes and 10 years of using them exclusively for service. The same was true today when the E-Ray got its annual service. I arrived at 10am, and before I could even sit down after visiting with Mike and looking at a few cars, Dina texted me that my car was ready. I was on the road 45 minutes after my arrival.

I wish all Corvette owners were treated as well as I have been by Criswell, in particular Dina and Mike. They are a 1st-class operation, and I’d drive hundreds of miles if necessary just to take advantage of their excellence.”

~Robert G. of Dothan, Alabama special Ordered this stunning Red Mist 2027 Grand Sport Corvette Convertible and added Chrome wheels to make it pop more if that’s even possible. The Criswell service team exchanged the wheels through Wheelcraft as Robert was completing the paperwork/payment process through Fed Ex. Plycar trucking loaded it today for the trip to Robert’s Alabama home. Robert is a gentleman + and is anxious to get behind the wheel of his new Grand Sport.

Equipment: 3LT, stealth interior trim, extended front splitter ground effects pkg, front lift, bright quad exposed exhaust , black interior with red stitching and red seat belts, three stanchion high wing and much more!
