Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays, Grand Sports, Z06s and ZR1s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
This will be a short week for Mike as he heads out to Spring Mountain with 20 customers! This week Mike features a few deliveries and one of those was interrupted by an urgent phone call from the buyer’s wife with some cool news you don’t hear every day. ~This Wednesday, October 2nd I fly out to Nevada to meet up with 20 of my Corvette customers from all over the USA to experience the Corvette Owners School in Pahrump, NV at the Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Race track…so I will be out of the office October 2nd-6th. Wednesday eve I will have a Pizza Dinner Party in The Clubhouse so everyone can get to meet and ask questions. Many folks have never been on a Racetrack before so I want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible. I will have a special guest joining us, he knows the track pretty well and will help with the questions.
*Also on October 2nd is the reveal of the C8 Convt down in Florida. The internet will be buzzing. So stay tuned.
~The C8 allocation and ordering process has just started two weeks ago. This is a process that plays out over time. Be Patient. Well worth the wait.

~DD of BB, Pennsylvania called me last week as he had bought an SS from me two years ago. He wanted to trade in his Admiral Blue 2019 Stingray for a Sebring Orange 2019 Grand Sport cpe. I gave him a sight-unseen trade value and Saturday he made the 3-hour drive down to swap Corvettes. Equipment list: 7 spd manual transmission, Black Competition seats, cf badge pkg, black wheels, cf painted mirrors, navigation/PDR and 2LT pkg.
~All the good things that you have heard about Mike Furman are absolutely true. He is a delightful person to work with, he treats his customers well and his encyclopedic knowledge of Corvettes is amazing. He makes the purchasing experience a true pleasure. And, it is refreshing to work with someone who greatly enjoys his job. Mike is a seasoned professional who represents GM, Chevrolet, and Criswell very well. ~The entire buying experience with Mike Furman was positive, professional, and smooth. It actually went better than I expected, especially since it was an out of state purchase for me. I would recommend Mike to anyone considering buying a Corvette, particularly if placing a Factory Order. ~This is my first Corvette, and first time working with Mike Furman. After purchasing 9 vehicles, and 22 motorcycles, Mike stands far above all other representatives for the following reasons: 1: Enthusiasm. Mike is as excited about Corvettes as the clients purchasing them. The typical car salesperson could be selling appliances, given their lack of knowledge/passion/interest in the vehicle. Not Mike…after 41 years of selling Corvettes, he is as passionate about the brand as the client making the purchase. 2: Product Knowledge. In my first face-to-face meeting with Mike, and after hours of research, I came prepared with dozens of written questions. Mike confidently answered all of them. He never once said "I don’t know", or "I’ll get back to you". 3: Leadership: Mike leads by example in the Corvette experience. He has owned 19 Corvettes and has #20 on order. Think about the typical representative you may have worked within previous car purchases…did she ever own what she was selling? Did he ever tour the assembly plant where the vehicle was made? Does she have direct contact with brand executives to makes things right if there is ever a problem? Mike has all of that, and his clients benefit tremendously from it. 4: Work Ethic: Mike is promptly at his desk most days by 6:00am. Yes at his desk, at the dealership. I always receive return emails from him within just a few hours. 5: Client Skill Developer: Mike has a dedicated web site that contains instructional videos to help learn about your Corvette. Mike also invites Corvette clients to Ron Fellows driving experience to learn about the Corvette in a safe driving experience. What other vehicle sales professional have you experienced that does this? For me, the answer is simple: No one. I could go on, but you probably get the point by now…Mike differentiates himself vs all other sales professionals. Most of his sales are from referrals because you want other friends and co-workers to experience a first-class purchase experience.
