Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays, Grand Sports, Z06s and ZR1s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

It’s a busy time of the year for the nation’s top Corvette seller as the first 2020 Corvette orders will soon be headed to Chevrolet. So for this week’s delivery dispatch, he is shinning his delivery spotlight on a two new 2019 Corvettes Z06s in Arctic White and Long Beach Red! ~Be prepared…when ordering your new Corvette it should be easy in this day and age (Computers/forums etc) to have a real good working knowledge of what you are seeking…even if you are looking for a second hand Corvette, have a want list so you can narrow your focus because the good Corvettes don’t last long in the marketplace. When I sold my 67 Corvette the negotiation lasted 10 seconds tops. The collector knew what he wanted and my 67 was the right car at the right time. I knew the moment I first saw the new 2020 mid-engine Corvette that it would be the next Corvette I would own, #20 will be a 2020 model year Corvette. Cleaning up my garage as we speak. *2020 ordering has begun and I have started to call folks in order of when they first got their time-stamped and date-coded deal folder in place. It’s a methodical process and the more changes you make the more capable to have a mistake. Once your order goes to 3000 status is when all changes are off the board. What throws a monkey wrench into this process are constraints. I always say the car is the star so if it’s just an engine cover on constraint don’t hold up your order for that option. Get the Car and order the part over the parts counter when it becomes available.

~Back about 7 years ago I had a client from Boston who invited me up to watch a baseball game in Fenway as he knew I was a big fan of the history of Baseball and I had never been to Fenway. Midway thru the 5th inning, he said to watch the scoreboard, he had my name in big bold letters up for everyone to view. Pretty cool stuff…and then this past week I get some pictures from two customers of mine that reside in Michigan, of the race car for Martin Truex Jr., they had my name put on the hood for his Nascar Race at Indy today. So root for Truex today! I know it’s a Toyota…but it’s only one race.

*Spotlight on 2 Corvette deliveries this week …as you can imagine I’ve been a tad busy.

Tony and ”G” of Bayville, New Jersey are two of the nicest people I’ve met in all my decades selling Corvettes! We met at Carlisle a few years ago and they purchased a 16 Z06 from me…and then his best friend came down from NJ and bought a new Z06 1 week after his deal. 8 weeks ago Tony ordered a new Arctic White Z06 and I gave him a sight-unseen trade value on his 16 Z. Saturday was delivery day and they drove down Friday night and came in to make the switch. Equipment list: auto transmission, code 198 Black interior with microfiber inserts and red stitching, black wheels, red seat belts, visible cf roof and much more. The Performance airbox is on backorder and will be shipped up to him the moment GM sends it to Criswell parts dept. Now we both have to wait another 11 months before we catch up at Carlisle again!

~Allen H. of Blacksburg, Virginia was referred to me by another Corvette customer of mine so he placed his factory order with me 8 weeks ago. Allen and his friend Randy drove 5 hrs up and stayed overnight. He came in to settle up the payment/paperwork and now he has hired Plycar trucking to enclose truck deliver his new Long Beach Red 2019 Corvette Z06 to his driveway after all the LPO accessories arrive. Equipment list: Kalahari interior, Competition seats, visible carbon fiber ground effects pkg, Carbon fiber instrument panel, yellow calipers, 7 Spd manual transmission, performance air intake, Z07 ultimate performance pkg, 3LZ pkg and much more.
