Here is a former 2006 SEMA car that was ahead of its time. The Genaddi Design Group heard the requests from Corvette owners early on and built this one-off custom roadster out of a Corvette Z06. It can now be yours for the low, low price of $175K.
In addition to the chopped top, most of the Corvette’s carbon fiber and composite panels were replaced with custom aluminum panels. The rear end is where the most striking (and awkward) change occurred where the traditional rear deck was replaced with one that slopes down considerably and features protruding tail lights a la the Ferrari Enzo.
The Corvette Z06 LSR Roadster has only 2,454 original miles on the clock and is being sold by the original owner. The Corvette is completely street-legal and the engine has been “chipped” to provide 545 horsepower.

There are still 15 days left with the auction closing on July 30th. The auction is using the “Buy it Now” format with the price set at $175,000 or best offer. We believe that the best offer will probably be considerably less than the asking price.
So what ever happened with the Genaddi Design Group? A production run of these LSR Corvette Z06 roadsters never happened due to the changing economic environment. However, one commenter on another site with knowledge of the shop says they closed following some questionable business dealings. Regardless, The Genaddi LSR Roadster is a unique Corvette show car that would turn heads wherever it goes.
