Now that the market price has been set with a high bid of $15,200 for a pair of tickets to the C8 Corvette reveal on 07.18.19, the National Corvette Museum has two more pairs of tickets that just became available and they are for sale on eBay with a “Buy it Now” price of $15,000 per pair!

The buildup to tonight’s charity auction has been in the works since April when General Motors CEO Mary Barra announced the final C7 Corvette – a Z06 Coupe, would be offered for sale at Barrett-Jackson with the proceeds going to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

It’s official! Please help us welcome Dr. Sean Preston to the National Corvette Museum!

Dr. Preston will be taking over for the retiring Wendell Strode who has led the operations at the National Corvette Museum for the last 23 years. Wendell will be staying on with the NCM until January 2020.

Called “A Timeless Car”, this 15-second video shares quick cuts of Corvettes that most likely comes from earlier promotional materials while a vintage voice-over says the following:

The men who designed this had fun. And the builders and the testers had fun. And while it’s never going to take the place of the family car, I for one, am going to have a lot of fun owning it.”
