Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for July 7th

Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays, Grand Sports, Z06s and ZR1s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Mike is back from vacation and will hit the ground running on Monday morning. This is a huge month for Mike as he will be at the reveal of the C8 Corvette and then heading to Spring Mountain for another round of Corvette Owner’s School with his customers. This month will also mark his 42nd year in the business so keep that in mind when you are interested in placing an order for the mid-engine Corvette or purchasing a Corvette from any of his existing C7 inventory. As always, his weekly delivery post contains a great collection of vintage and throwback photos so make sure you scroll to the end!

With the 2020 Corvette, Chevrolet will be expanding the available exterior colors with 12 choices instead of the previous 10. Three new colors are expected next year, Zeus Bronze, Rapid Blue, and Accelerate Yellow.

We pretty much had the Zeus Bronze color nailed down after the RPO code leaked from the Canadian dealership earlier this year, but just in case anyone had doubts, a graphic of the paint chip has surfaced and it confirms that the new Corvette color shares the same GM paint codes as Cadillac’s Bronze Sand Metallic.

Corvettes On Craigslist: 1957 Corvette Street Rod Gasser

A 1957 Corvette is one of the most desirable early Corvettes produced and for good reason as it was the first year that Chevrolet reached the magical “one horsepower per cubic inch” with its new fuel-injected 283/283 V8. It was also the year that the 4-speed manual transmission was offered.

When we first saw this barn-find 1957 Corvette gasser on Craigslist, we are sure some of you would be salivating to restore it back to its standard configuration. The current seller though says this is not a “return-to-stock- restoration project” so if you have a thing for Corvette drag cars, keep on reading!
