You’re never too old to enjoy a ride in a red Corvette.

Just ask an Australian woman named Lorna Craney.

To celebrate her 100th birthday, Lorna recently told the staff at the nursing home where she lives that she would like to go on a car ride around the area, her first such trip since moving to Carinity Summit Cottages five years ago.

On Friday the Corvette Team is expected to announce the dates for the C8 Corvette’s mobile showroom dealership tour. We understand that two of these mobile showrooms, one for the East Coast and one on the West Coast, are scheduled to visit up to 125 Chevrolet dealers over the next few months.

Nashville is usually the closest airport for the those flying in for business at the Bowling Green Assembly Plant. It’s usually an easy flight in and then it’s just a one-hour drive north on I65 to Bowling Green.

We came across this picture from the Corvette Forum showing a C8 Corvette prototype supposedly in the pick-up lane where we are assuming they are picking up a fellow GM’er who just arrived. Of course, the alternate theory is they just dropped off someone but I digress…
