I was hoping that yesterday’s leak of the C8’s rear end would have been a one-and-done, and now this one is even worse. Because this image is so poor, and obvious edits have been made to erase its surroundings, we were torn on whether to run it or not. Heck, we don’t even know if it’s a picture of the real car or just a very bad rendering. But after Jalopnik picked it up and now others are running it, we’re going to give you our opinion.

We came across this video of the Black 2014 Corvette Stingray fully engulfed in flames on an unnamed country road in an unnamed town. We don’t know what caused it, but the owner does mention that he couldn’t get out of the car which we assume was because it was already on fire by the time he pulled over.
The months are flying by as we close in on the reveal of the next-generation Corvette which happens next week on 07.18.19. This is a pivotal time for dealers who are working hard to secure their allocations for the C8 Mid-Engine Corvette by selling as many C7 Corvettes as possible.

It was a typical day at work until I received my mail late this afternoon. A package with the return address of “Chevrolet, 100 Renaissance Center, Detroit, Michigan” that included the C8 logo next to the address was sitting atop the stack of mail. When I saw it, the rest of the mail didn’t matter even though I had no idea what might be in the package. Of course, I quickly opened the package and was excited about what I saw inside…a limited-edition 2020 Corvette coin with the C8 logo on one side and Zora Arkus-Duntov on the other!

The image was posted tonight on the Corvette Forum (and on instagram) via a user named AbsolutHank who says he found it on Facebook. He asks if it “seems legit?”
