“Let the buyer beware” never rang more true than in the case of this Cape Coral, Florida man who finally landed his dream car: a classic C3 Corvette.

Chevrolet has announced through a press release today that the 2020 Corvette Stingray has arrived for sale in the Middle East. The 2020 Corvette Z51 Coupe will start with an MSRP of 317,712 AED (converted from $86,500 USD) for cars equipped with the Z51 Performance Package and is now on sale in Chevrolet dealerships across the region.

Back in early September we received the inevitable news that the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN) show had been canceled for this year. Chevrolet described the C8’s focal point during the official launch of the car as the “jewel in a showcase, visible through the large rear hatch window,” and owners can choose between three different colors of engine covers to customize the look of the engine bay.
The new mid-engine Corvette is definitely stirring the creative juices of the aftermarket crowd, and the world’s first Pandem widebody kit has already been installed for owner Alex Lawn by LT Motor Werks out of California.
This is the one contest that nobody wants to win, but accidents do happen. In this case, the automotive gods have claimed what may be the first C8 Corvette hardtop convertible to be totaled in a crash.
