Back in early September we received the inevitable news that the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN) show had been canceled for this year. Since this is one of our absolute favorite car shows, we had been holding out hope that the show could go on for 2020. Nevertheless, with Coronavirus cases still surging, there’s just no way to safely hold a massive indoor car show.

In lieu of the 2020 postponement, the MCACN team announced that all the 2020 invitational and special displays would carry over into the 2021 event along with some new content. Mark your calendars now for November 20th and 21st 2021 in Rosemont, Illinois. We’ll see you there.

But wait, there’s good news too! While the 2020 in-person MCACN show is canceled, the show will still go on virtually. MCACN organizers recently announced that they’ve set up a new YouTube channel and will be live streaming this Saturday, November 21st from the Brothers Collection. The collection recently moved into a new 100,000+ square foot warehouse and contains over 500 of the best muscle and collector cars you’ve ever seen. Need examples? Try these on for size: nine Hemi Mopar E-Body convertibles, four 1969 Trans Am convertibles, the 1969 Hurst/Olds prototype and the Hurst/Olds convertible, Yenko’s, Shelby’s, exotics, and more.

The show, hosted by V8TV’s Kevin Oeste, will begin at 7:30pm eastern with an overview of the collection. From there they’ll have 3 premiere unveilings just like they do at MCACN each year. After that, they’ll be joined by some special guests like Bob Perkins who’ll talk about the MCACN Pinnacle certification program and the MCACN Cobra Jet Invitational. Bill Braun, the MCACN Judging Supervisor, will dish on Corvettes, including a recently acquired 1963 Z06. Mopar Authority, Dave Wise, will show us the “Wall of AAR’s” and some other Mopars in the collection. MCACN Managing Member, Bob Ashton, and other MCACN members will be present and making appearances as well.

The 2020 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Northwest virtual show takes place this Saturday, November 21st at 7:30pm eastern on the MCACN YouTube channel. Check out the preview video of this weekend’s event below. The MCACN team has been dropping photos and teasers all week on their Facebook page. Based on what we’ve seen so far, this going to be the next best thing to being in Chicago this weekend. We’ll be tuned in. Will you?

  1. My C8 is an awesome achievement of touring comfort, economy of operation, amazing looks, and raw performance. I see people pulling along side on interstate taking pictures and I can’t tell you how many people at gas stations or other stops don’t come over to see the car or comment on its beauty. The people at Chevrolet have furthered the the endearment of a legend. Thank you for my Corvette! By far the best one I’ve owned.

  2. Richard, they do that with any generation of Corvette! Not just with the C8! I’ve been accosted many times when refueling any of my Corvettes or my Viper TA!
