Bloomington Gold’s Indianapolis event returns this week to its usual June timeslot after a pandemic-modified show in 2020. The Granddaddy of Corvettes shows is returning to the Lucas Oil Stadium this Friday, June 18th and Saturday, June 19th from 8am-5pm each day. With a full year to plan with the new location, the show looks to be slowly returning to normal, just like the rest of the country.

The last video with Emelia Hartford had her breaking her own world record times in the C8 Corvette not once but twice during a two-day private test at Famoso Raceway outside of Bakersfield, California. With the previous record standing at 9.41 seconds and despite the fact that the temps were over 100 degrees, Emelia was able to beat her record with quarter-mile runs of 9.36 and a 9.39.

It’s now Day Two of that test and Emelia and her team are up early to take advantage of the cooler morning temps. Unfortunately, Phoenix was having some issues…

Corvette Racing will soon complete the construction of a new Corvette C8.R racer that will be used first at the IMSA race at Road America in early August before being flown to France where it will serve as the team’s backup car for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
