If you’re looking for the car that most symbolizes the American spirit, the Chevrolet Corvette might be a logical choice.
That supposition is supported by the latest annual “Made in America” study from the Kogod School of Business at Washington’s American University.
Despite the supply chain and chip issues hitting auto manufacturers hard in 2021, production and sales of the Chevrolet Corvette are red hot and show no signs of slowing down as we look forward to 2022.
The 3rd Quarter 2021 production totals for the Corvette were among the highest sales numbers in recent history with Chevrolet delivering 10,166 new Corvettes during the time period, a 60% increase when compared to the 6,355 units sold in the third quarter of 2020. For the year to date, sales have increased 96% with 24,748 Corvettes sold during the calendar year.
The eighth-generation Corvette Z06, the biggest car reveal of the year, is just under two weeks out. It seems like it’s been an eternity since America’s Favorite Sports Car officially went mid-engined on 7/18/19. Since that date, loyal fans of the Crossed Flags have waited with bated breath to see what is next. The base car’s performance is so brutal that it made everyone wonder what Chevrolet had up their respective sleeve for the hard-core “Z” variants. Here at CorvetteBlogger, we have followed C8Z development like a kettle of hawks. Spy shots, rumors, speculation; we’ve been neck-deep in it! Now, with the day finally approaching, we have one final question (for now, at least). Will the Z06 finally get some exclusive colors added to its paint palette?
The C8 Corvette Stingray continues to burn up the charts as ISeeCars proclaims it to be the second fastest-selling new vehicle in the U.S.A for the month of September 2021.

Now that the C8 Corvettes have landed in Europe, we are starting to get reviews from the various outlets over there and we’ve got a great one to share today.
