We’re into April now, so hopefully you’re nearing the end of any off-season projects to get your Corvette ready for Spring and Summer cruises and Corvette shows. Our friends at Volunteer Vette have previously highlighted the parts and accessories as relating to brakes, suspension, and exhaust systems, and now they have the perfect project that any owner can complete, and you’ll be very happy with the outcome.
Seems like we got all this week’s good news on one day! Following reports that Chevy will run the 2023 Corvette model year through September 1st, we learned that things have also been poppin’ at the Corvette Assembly Plant this week for America’s newest supercar as well.

Chevrolet has dropped their first Corvette Academy video for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray today and this one is simply titled “Meet E-RAY.” It’s a quick video clocking in at just 1:41 and it features Lead Vehicle Development Engineer Michael Kutcher and Chevrolet’s Marketing Director Brad Franz offering their takes on Chevy’s first electrified all-wheel drive Corvette.
We got some actionable info today direct from Chevrolet as it communicates its future Corvette plans with its dealers. The big news of course is that we finally have a hard date on when the 2023 model year will end and the start of the 2024 models.

In the small town of Seneca, South Carolina, the only Aztec Gold Corvette available for sale right now in the entire world is being offered by Vette City for $39,900.

The LSU Lady Tigers defeated the University of Iowa Hawkeyes on April 2nd to win the 2023 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship and one of the major contributors to that win was LSU’s Angel Reese. Angel was named the most outstanding player of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament, as well as first-team All-American and SEC first-team All-Defensive honors.
With Chevrolet producing so many great Corvettes over the last seventy years, it’s hard to own just one. It’s been a little while since we’ve checked in with our friend Morgan Crosbie of Finch Chevrolet in London, Ontario, but today he’s bringing us a fun video that shows the PDI (pre-delivery inspection) of the 2023 Corvette Z06 before it’s delivered to its new owner. During the PDI, not only does the Corvette tech do everything from checking fluids and preparing the car, but they will also finish installing all the options that were ordered with the car but take too long to do them on the assembly line.
Judging from the product layout we see here, Morgan and his Corvette tech Phil will be very busy as they install everything on this Corvette Z06!
