Chevrolet has dropped their first Corvette Academy video for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray today and this one is simply titled “Meet E-RAY.” It’s a quick video clocking in at just 1:41 and it features Lead Vehicle Development Engineer Michael Kutcher and Chevrolet’s Marketing Director Brad Franz offering their takes on Chevy’s first electrified all-wheel drive Corvette.
Win a 2024 Corvette E-Ray
As the slogan goes, the E-Ray is “one like none” and it’s the eAWD that has us excited. We’ve already seen the E-Ray go up against the Ferrari F8 and the Lamborghini Huracan Evo and E-Ray’s eAWD puts the car out in first and the 495-hp LT2 V8 helps to keep it there. In this Corvette Academy video, Kutcher describes the E-Ray’s acceleration and performance as “mind blowing” while Franz mentions how the E-Ray unlocks unprecedented capabilities for the driver:
This car brings technology to the forefront and unlocks unprecedented capabilities for the driver. As the first-ever Corvette to have electrified all-wheel drive, the E-Ray is one like none.

i’m hoping to be an early owner
So am I.
Not interested in electric junk
YOU CAN CALL ME RAY, OR YOU CAN CALL ME E-RAY…….. just dont call me JOHNSON.
(look it up)
Riptide Blue looks INCREDIBLE. Love those Eray wheels as well, just wish the spokes weren’t twisted. The HIDEOUS side intake is somewhat hidden when it’s body colored. A MUST DO mod for ZO6 if you don’t get option code EFY for body colored accents.
It still has a V8, BOB – is just has an electric motor on the front axle.
