We played this fun clip a couple weeks back of Jordan Taylor inquiring about another seat in a NASCAR race event as his alter ego Rodney Sandstorm let us know Jordan was wanting to do an oval race. That moment has come as Taylor will be racing in the CARS Tour’s Pro Late Model division at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Wednesday, May 17th. Jordan will making his first Pro Late Model start with E33 Motorsports.

With the green flag for Sunday’s MOTUL Course de Monterey, the No. 3 Corvette C8.R ace driver will become the first driver in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship to make 100 starts in the series since the start of the post-merger era in 2014 when the American Le Mans Series and GRAND-AM joined together for one American sports car championship. Garcia and Jordan Taylor will share the No. 3 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Chevrolet Corvette as they have since 2020. All of Garcia’s previous 99 IMSA starts have come in a Corvette. On Tuesday it was announced that the 2023 Corvette Z06 would be the official Pace Car for the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500. This is a record 20th time for Corvette, and the only thing that would make the event even cooler is if Chevrolet would offer an Indy 500 Pace Car replica for sale to the public.
It’s always great to be back home again in Indiana, especially during the month of May. And while many are thinking about that famous race which also happens every year in May, car collectors are most certainly thinking about Dana Mecum and Mecum Auctions return to the great city of Indianapolis for the 36th Annual Original Spring Classic that kicks off on May 12th and runs through May 20th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Chevrolet announced on Tuesday that the 2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible will be pacing the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 28th, making it the 20th time a Corvette has led the field for the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing!”
