Both GTD PRO Corvettes seeking to move up throughout six hours at The Glen

WATKINS GLEN, NY (June 27, 2026) – Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller’s No. 3 Corvette Z06 GT3.R of Antonio Garcia and Alexander Sims will look for their second straight GTD PRO victory in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship from the fourth row of the class at the start of Sunday’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen.

Garcia qualified eighth in class as Corvette Racing seeks its third win in the Six Hours since 2014. His lap of 1:44.660 (117.340 mph) was less than a second from the class pole-winning car. The championship-leading No. 4 Corvette of Nicky Catsburg and Tommy Milner will start behind their teammates Sunday. The title fight in GTD PRO is razor thin with 31 points between the top-four in class – Milner and Catsburg in the lead and the No. 3 Corvette duo of Garcia and Sims fourth as they aim to repeat as GTD PRO champions.

The four qualifying sessions – including the ones for GTD and GTD PRO – were delayed more than two hours due to track repairs at the entrance to the Bus Stop chicane.

CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R DRIVER QUOTES

ANTONIO GARCIA, NO. 3 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R:

Antonio Garcia The car felt OK. Unfortunately our position didn’t change much throughout. I think we were expecting more but obviously we didn’t have enough. So yes, the car felt good so let’s see tomorrow.

NICKY CATSBURG, NO. 4 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R:

Nicky Catsburg It felt pretty decent in qualifying so it’s a bit of a surprise to be this far off the pace. So we need to figure out how to gain some places tomorrow. I feel like we have a good racecar and it’s going to be a long race. So let’s see what happens.
