The word of the day is…Stingray!
Today is the start of the two-week order cycle for Corvettes. Dealers got their allocated numbers today and next week they will be able to tag and release those customer orders matched to these allocations. There will be one more round of ordering at the very end of the month with the final orders for the 2026 model year going in on March 26th.
We reached out to multiple dealers to build a consensus on what Chevrolet was offering this go around and of the dealers we spoke with, they either received just Stingrays or no Corvettes at all. Of course, there could have been other models offered to dealers outside our circle which is why our inbox is always open for your input as well.
One dealer that we spoke with says this feels like a “half-cycle” with the other half dropping on March 19th. For most of the 2026 model year, Chevrolet has been doing just one Corvette order cycle per month, but both February and March will have seen two offered.
Dealers can now see RPO USA in the GM ordering system which corresponds to the Stars & Steel packages but they are still unable to order them, nor do dealers have any idea on how these cars will be allocated. It sounds like it will be a first-come, first-served kinda deal, and that’s hard for dealers to plan for.
For those that interested in saving some cash, GM has extended the $4,000 Loyalty Cash on 2025 Corvettes for those owners who have a 2011+ Corvette and Camaro in the garage. The cash rebate has been extended through Tuesday, March 31st.
