New Round of Allocations for 2026 Corvettes Sent to Dealers this Week

Looks like one of our questions has been answered.

With the 2026 Corvette model year now scheduled to end on May 29th, and the final orders for 2026 Corvettes happening on March 26, the question on many minds is how many remaining order cycles for the ’26s will be offered between then and now?

Based on yesterday’s reports of limited allocations flowing to dealers, it appears that there will be at least two opportunities to order a 2026 Corvette in February, and we are anticipating another two order cycles in March which should provide plenty of new orders to close out the model year.

And guess which model we heard was granted with every dealer who did get allocations? Corvette E-Rays! They didn’t come in huge numbers, but they were granted along with Z06s and some Stingrays. We did hear of a dealer getting a ZR1 as well. However, we did see a dealer or two stating no allocations once again, so there is no apparent rhyme or reason as to who gets them and who doesn’t.

Dealers also didn’t receive any guidance this week about ordering the 250 limited edition Stars & Steel Corvettes, but with just a few more ordering opportunities available, that should happen shortly.

And finally, we do want to make a price check correction on the VWE Front Radiator Grille screens for the Corvette. Initially they were priced at $650 and now pricing is showing $950 for the popular dealer-installed option. We’re not sure why there was so much movement in the pricing for VWE as I paid $895 for the option for my 2025 E-Ray. Then for 2026, GM was showing just $650 and now it’s been raised to $950. This pricing makes more sense now that GM has also come out with the PCQ Grille Screen Protection for $1,650 which gives the widebody Corvette owners additional protection with the side intakes.
