When the C6 ZR1 roared onto the scene in 2009, Chevrolet didn’t just unveil a new flagship — it put its engineering pride on display. Literally. The 638 horsepower LS9, a hand built supercharged masterpiece, sat beneath a clear polycarbonate window in the hood, daring anyone to doubt what America’s sports car was capable of.
If you missed the thrill back then, a second chance is sitting on eBay right now: a lightly used 2010 Corvette ZR1, Arctic White, with just 12,860 miles and bidding already at $50,817 with the reserve still unmet.
The auction wraps up Sunday night — right in the middle of the Super Bowl — which feels fitting for a car that was built to steal the spotlight.
This one is rare even by ZR1 standards. Only 139 were painted Arctic White for 2010, and this example looks nearly factory fresh, right down to its two tone leather interior. The seller says it “runs and drives like new, and everything works as it should.”
And when he says everything works, he means everything. The car comes with the top-of-the-line 3ZR package that added an even $10,000 to the base price of $107,830. Included were items like an extended leather upholstery, seven-speaker Bose audio system, power-adjustable and heated seats with memory settings, power-telescoping steering wheel and Bluetooth connectivity , Navigation system and curb view camera, carbon-fiber trim on the console and other areas, and Magnetic Selective Ride Control.
This one also wears chrome 20-spoke aluminum wheels (a $1,995 option) and carbon fiber front splitter and rocker panels.
As the first Corvette to break the six figure barrier, the C6 ZR1 has only grown in stature. Collectors love its blend of classic long hood Corvette styling and outrageous, old school supercharged power. It’s raw, loud, analog, and brutally fast — a combination that’s getting harder to find in the modern era.
With its rarity, low miles, and top tier options, this Arctic White example checks every box for a future collectible. The only question now is how high the bidding climbs before the gavel falls Sunday night.

Very nice ZR1….
These cars generated a lot of excitement with their supercharged engines. I first saw one at the Chevy display at the Palm Beach Barrett-Jackson auction. The “window’ was a nice touch.
