[VIDEO] Pricing Set for GM’s New Grille Screen Protection Package for Z06 and E-Ray

A couple weeks back we saw that GM updated the 2026 Corvette Order Guide with a new LPO Package for grille screens called the Grille Screen Protection Package (PCQ). At the time, we had no pricing on the new package. Now, thanks to our friend Rick Conti, we got some additional details to share. For those ordering a new Z06 or E-Ray, this is one cost-savings package to consider.

Chevrolet first made grille screens available to protect the front radiators from getting dinged up. The LPO Grille Screens come from Scrape Armor and they have sets available for both the Stingray and the Z06/E-Ray. The new LPO Grille Screen Protection Package extends that protection to the Corvette’s side air intakes, but for now it’s only available for the Z06/E-Ray.

Here was the full description from the Distribution Guide:

“(PCQ) LPO, Grill Screen Protection Package. Includes (VWE) Front Radiator Grille Screens LPO and (VWT) Insect Protection Grille Screen LPO, Genuine Corvette Accessories.”

The PCQ package from Genuine Corvette Accessories includes the (VWE) Front Radiator Grille Screens that are $650, and the new (VWT) Insect Protection Grille Screens that protect the widebody side air intakes. These are from Scrape Armor as well and are new for 2026, but they haven’t yet been priced as an standalone option. Together as a package they can be ordered using the PCQ LPO code and they are priced at $1,650. This also includes installation by your dealer when ordered with your new Corvette.

In some related news, while digging into this new package, we learned that Chevrolet has lowered the price on the Scrape Armor Front Radiator Grille Screens for the Z06/E-Ray from where it was previously. They were priced at $895 when I purchased my E-Ray a year ago. The new price of $650 represents an additional savings of $245, so now they should be even more attractive to buyers especially since installation does require the removal of the front fascia.
