We are in the second week of the 2026 January Order Cycle and that means it’s time for customer orders to be submitted. Today is also the day that dealers got the full list of constraints, so buckle up and let’s take a look!
I guess the one good thing we don’t have to mention are the Electrochromic Roofs, but oops, I just did! GM added a footnote to the $3,000 sunroof option in the Corvette Order Guide earlier this month saying they are not available to order. So officially there are no constraints on them this month, but zero are available to order.
It’s a broken record, but we are seeing issues in having any kind of supply on the Z06 and ZR1’s visible carbon fiber aero available for ordering. The carbon flash-painted high wings for the Z06 are on a 40% supplier restriction while the visible carbon fiber high wings have zero (0%) availability. As for the ZR1, it appears to us that no base versions are available due to the constraint of the CFV visible carbon fiber rockers without the T0M high wing, so GM must be prioritizing them for any ZR1 orders with the high wing. There is still zero availability on the Alcon J59 brakes, so that means no ZTK for ZR1 either.
On another matter, the winter weather that rolled through the area at the beginning of the week led to a closure of the Corvette Assembly Plant. Both shifts were off on Monday and Tuesday due to the icy conditions on the road. The plant resumed operations on Wednesday.

Can you explain why there is a “lot hold”
Not sure if that’s the correct term on all ZR1s. Mine was completed January 15th and had a museum delivery scheduled but it had been postponed. I was told no ZR1s have been shipped for over 2 weeks.
Thanks
