We are in the end game for the 2025 Corvette model year with just a few weeks to go before it’s all tied up nicely with a bow and delivered to the National Corvette Museum where we will eventually get the stats for the model year production. We’ve looked at the top colors earlier in the 2025 model year, and I have another post today with the top 2025 exteriors through June 20th.

After the 2024 model year ended with 14 exterior color choices available, GM did a hard reset on its exterior color selection for 2025 by canceling seven colors at the end of 2024 and introducing three new ones for a new total of 10 available colors.

The good folks over at C8Tracker.com provide all kinds of great information with their window sticker lookup service and one of things we can do is some data mining on the all the different options that were collected. The exterior color totals are offered in a weekly format and so we have been systematically going in every few weeks to update our chart. Theses latest numbers are through June 20th:

2025 Corvette Colors

As we look at the chart, there really hasn’t been any difference in the top 3 colors other than the order going to back to the C7s. White, Black, and Torch Red remain the top colors for the 2025s, followed by Red Mist and Sea Wolf Gray. This is the last year for Sea Wolf Gray and it’s proved to be a popular color over its two year run. Solidly in the middle tier and separated by just 1 unit is Riptide Blue and Hysteria Purple Metallic. They are followed by Competition Yellow in 8th place overall. Sebring Orange Metallic is 9th and it returned to the lineup after it was removed following the 2021 model year. The interesting thing here is that Sebring orange got a much later start than the other two new colors for 2025 which may be reflected in the lower count. Finally in 10th place is Rapid Blue which has been on every C8 since its rollout in 2020.

The new colors for 2026 will see Blade Silver returning to color lineup and replacing Sea Wolf Gray, while the new Roswell Green will be replacing Rapid Blue.

  1. Everyone has their own opinions, when it comes to colors, especially on the favorite colors, they like for the Corvette.

I have two favorites Red Mist and Rip Tide Blue. Black always looks MEAN, but unless you have it covered all the time when not driven, its a lot of work. The one color I will never understand why so many people like and that’s White. For me, white is the color for kitchen appliances, or Washers and Dryers Sports Cars, need, bright colors, to show off the excitement they generate. Prince called it…”Little Red Corvette” I don’t think it would be quite the same if the Corvette was white MHO LOL

  2. I too, question all the white Corvettes, knowing, of course, that buyers are free to choose what they want. My younger sister has a white over red ’18 Grand Sport, and she loves it. I keep my mouth shut. And it’s not just Corvettes, either. There are seemingly millions of white Camrys out there, going 10 under the limit. Me? I don’t want to look like a plumber or an electrician. My four Vettes are Cyber Gray, Black, Admiral Blue, and Red Mist. Actual COLORS…
