Last week, we told you about a California dealer who’s asking a cool half-million bucks for a new 2025 Corvette ZR1.
If that’s a little steep for your wallet, here’s a chance to pick up a sixth-generation ZR1 for a lot less money, and it’s practically brand new with only 1,200 miles on the odometer.
This 2010 Torch Red over Ebony leather coupe has been offered on Bring a Trailer two previous times. Now it’s back as this beautifully updated Corvette is currently being offered on Bring a Trailer by Cascio Motors in Scottsdale, Arizona. The auction will close on Thursday, July 10 at 4:42pm
Best of all, this beautiful ZR1 is being offered at NO RESERVE, meaning in a little over a day this car should definitely be going to a new home. So far, the high bid is $88,888, well below the asking price of some other examples lately.
This one is loaded with lots of features, including the top-of-the-line, $10,000 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, a host of carbon-fiber body panels – including the hood, front fenders, and fixed roof, xenon headlights, 19-inch and 20-inch multi-spoke chrome wheels that were a $2,000 option, Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, heated power seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and Bose sound system with CD.
Perhaps the most important feature, however, is the supercharged and intercooled 6.2-liter LS9 V8 that pumps out 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Even today, that much power makes this car feel like it can take on virtually anybody else on the road.
Only 1,426 ZR1s left the Bowling Green factory in 2010, the second year of a five-year production run, so it’s not surprising that the cars are holding on to much of their original value. This one had an original MSRP of $119,845, and a quick search on Autotrader today found only two other C6 ZR1s for sale nationwide – one with 29,201 miles for $115,000 and another with 23,991 miles for $94,989.
With just over 1,000 miles, this example appears to be pretty much flawless, other than some bubbling of the leather dash on the passenger side. You’d think Chevy could figure out how to prevent this common problem, but it’s apparently continued through the C7 and C8 generations, too, based on Web posts we’ve seen.
How high do you think this ZR1 will climb before the sale ends this week?
