This 1966 Corvette convertible may have a “blue” theme, but a new owner will likely not be crying the “blues” driving down the road.

This vintage Sting Ray is being offered on Craigslist in Renton, Washington for what seems like a reasonable price of $66,000, especially considering it has a new Trophy Blue paint job and a nicely restored interior, too.

While it doesn’t have a more powerful big-block under the hood, the car does retain its matching-numbers 327/300 horsepower base engine with a four-speed manual transmission and sharp-looking side pipes.

We’ve always liked the look of a C2 with a hardtop, and this car includes one in a matching shade of blue. The soft top is black, on the other hand, so the new owner will have the choice of making the car look different, depending on which top he chooses on any given day.

The owner apparently is a man of few words because the description doesn’t provide many details about the car. Based on the photos, though, this Sting Ray doesn’t seem to need much to begin enjoying immediately.

About the only drawback for purists is the new paint job that replaced the original Sunfire Yellow. Personally, we prefer the new look, but that’s a matter of personal taste and the size of one’s wallet as to whether to spend the money reverting it back to the factory shade.
