Not many six-year-old cars would sell for more than their original MSRP, but this 2019 Corvette ZR1 is a notable exception.
Listed for auction on carsandbids.com, this Torch Red example of what had been Chevy’s most powerful car (until the 2025 ZR1 surpassed it) has already passed its original MSRP of $141,815 by more than $4,000. With the auction coming to a close in two days, the high bid is $146,019 and will likely go much higher based on earlier sales of such cars.
This one – with 13,600 miles on the odometer – is said to be nearly perfect, with the only known flaw being some wear on the shift knob, which considering it’s a seven-speed manual is not very surprising.
The car has the top-of-the-line 3ZR package that added $10,000 to the base price of $120,900, along with the ZTK Track Performance Package worth $2,995. It’s also got two-tone black and red seats, red calipers, and carbon flash mirrors.
We’re actually surprised to see the car being sold since the original owner paid $5,000 to take part in the Customer Engine Build Program and another $200 for a Custom Personalized Plaque, but priorities change, apparently. Could the original owner be interested in a 2025 ZR1 to put in his garage?
That engine, by the way, is the 755-horsepower LT5 V8 that shoots through the quarter-mile in 10.8 seconds and goes 0 to 60 in 3.0 seconds.
Other features include Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, dual-zone climate control, power seats with heating and ventilation, head-up display, and upgraded Bose audio.
Aftermarket goodies on the car include tinted windows, logos on the center wheel caps, and paint protection film on the exterior.
Since this is the ultimate C7, we aren’t surprised that these ZR1s are so pricey these days. Are you?

Not a bad price for a manual C7 ZR1. I am guessing it will sell for more than the current bid of $146K.
At the February GAA Auction I watched a Black 2019 ZR1 fully loaded with 3ZR and ZTK and only 144 miles no sale with a high bid of $190,000. There was also another Black 2019 ZR1 with 3ZR and 2600 miles that sold for $175,000.
The manual does it for me. You just feel more like your a key part of the car, shifting, making the car sing!
Nostalgia is a powerful drug.
I prefer the Z06 but that’s sweet.
