Corvettes for Sale: 2023 Corvette Stingray with Salvage Title Going for $56K or Best Offer

If you can handle a little bad news, we have some good news about the low, low price we found on a used mid-engine Corvette currently on the market.

You can buy this nicely equipped 2023 Corvette Stingray coupe right now on eBay for just $56,000 – nearly half the original MSRP of $91,648.

The car – which is Ceramic Matrix Gray over Jet Black interior – also features the $6,345 Z51 Performance Package, $7,300 2LT package, $1,995 Competition Bucket Seats, $1,350 Carbon Flash Painted High Wing Spoiler, $995 20-Spoke Gloss Black Forged Aluminum Wheels, $695 Bright Red Painted Brake Calipers, $695 Sueded Microfiber-Wrapped Steering Wheel, $595 Stealth Interior Trim Package, $595 Black Composite Rockers, and $395 Black Exhaust Tips. Aftermarket additions include Borla exhaust, lip kit, interior carbon fiber parts, tinted windows, a brand new Lexan removable top, and more.

The catch?

The car has a salvage title from an accident in August 2023. No details are provided in the listing on eBay, but the seller – who says he’s the second owner – notes that it was repaired at a local body shop and he has receipts from Folsom Chevrolet for the parts needed.

Not quite sure yet? Well, the owner says this nearly new – though once battered – C8 “runs and looks great!” and a transmission fluid flush has been performed.

We’ve heard in the past that mainstream banks don’t look kindly on such salvage cars and don’t like to make loans on them, but a little internet research found that some credit unions, online lenders, and specialty financing companies might be open to financing them.

Based on the photos, the damage seems to have been nicely repaired, and with just 7,000 miles on the odometer, this might be the bargain someone has been waiting for.

  1. Are there any before & after pictures, & what’s the reason for the salvage title ? Sometimes titles are like lineage papers for a dog, I’ve adopted some very good dogs from the local shelters/dog pounds that were referred to as “Heinz 57’s”

  2. A Car Fax and/or a (VIS) Vehicle Information System Report from Folsom Chevrolet will start the process of information you will need to make an informed buying decision. Moreover, an independent inspection is prudent and necessary.
*The vehicle price should be 50% of full retail price with a salvage Tittle.
*Check your insurance company whether they will cover the said totaled vehicle.
*Check your state for a required vehicle inspection in order to drive on your state roads.

PS (VIS) Vehicle Information System report is now called the (GWM) Global Warranty Management report from GM.

    Many thanks,
    Ray
