For the 2025 model year, the Corvette team rolled out a new premium interior called Habanero, and we saw it for the first time in person on Wednesday afternoon at the National Corvette Museum’s 30th Anniversary Celebration.
The interior was presented on a new 2025 Corvette ZR1 Convertible that was previously displayed at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit earlier this month. The ZR1 is also outfitted in Arctic White with Orange racing stripes.
Habanero can be ordered when you select a 3LT or 3LZ trim package…while for the ZR1 it will be on the 3ZR trim group. We are glad that Chevy chose to show the interior on the GT2 bucket seats. In this configuration, we can see the headrests and seat bolsters are offered in Black while the seating surfaces are bright orange. The orange extends to the door panels, center console surrounding the drive mode selector, as well as on the lower dash.
For those that order the Competition Seats, we imagine they will be like the other interiors that reverses the colors so that the seating surfaces are black and the seat bolsters and headrests are finished in Orange.
We also note that the stitching, seat belts, and the steering wheel’s “notch” are also offered in orange.

That is the most hideous interior I have ever seen not only in a Corvette but and vehicle 👎😢
Sportscars should look sporty like this whereas a sedan or SUV should have a sexy beige, grey or black interior. 😁
Nice color – but because to the perforated seats it just looks dirty all the time. 🙁
I was expecting a color in the light brown family; more classy than the Florida orange color of the pictures. I’d rather choose the black/red combo at no extra cost.
You can’t use a light or bright colors with perforated seats because even brand new they look dirty. Maybe if you reverse the color on the seats, it would look better, if you like that color.
I like it! I would pair it with Sebring Orange exterior of course. Too bad it’s only available on the top trim level.
No, no and no!!!
Who comes up with these names? Guess they are trying to cater to our DACA population.
I like it because it pops & the car color combination with orange stripes is a perfect match but to finish the car off it should have had orange calipers. Actually with the seat perforations causing the seats to look dirty it enhances the overall look of the bright interior by slightly subduing it with the “Dirty Look”. The way Chevrolet likes to name their colors “Edge” something it would be logical to add the “Dirty Look” to their vocabulary.
Making the Sky Cool Gray / Strike Yellow / Black interior in this same configuration Strike Yellow / Black would have been much better than how they did it with the 3 tone using Sky Cool Gray as a 3rd color.
Wouldn’t this color combination in Strike Yellow / Black interior look really “JAZZY” in a Competition Yellow, Arctic White or Black exterior car. CY car with Black stripes; AW & B with Yellow stripes & all 3 with Yellow calipers.
It is a very “gutsy” interior. The orange is really striking and the hue is extreme. As the owner of a 2021 C8 with a Sky Cool Gray/Strike Yellow interior I am very familiar with the criticism of “seats look dirty to me.” The reality is the seat perforations are not very photogenic. Bad focus and bad eyesight are usually associated with the criticism. Given the abundance of orange leathers in the interior, the only body color that works is Sebring Orange. And that may be a stretch, too.
The sound design choices are non-chromatics of blacks, whites and all of the gray variations.
Blue and orange are both primary colors. Their contrasting temperatures and vibrancy create an energetic, eye-catching combination. Think of a glowing sunset over a blue ocean or a blue sky with orange autumn leaves?
Thanks,
Ray
I’m disappointed to see orange stitching in this combination but it’s not available as an option. I have an orange 23 Z06 and would have been nice to compliment the black interior with orange stitching.
Well done!
A pimpmobile right out of Mexico.
I think the orange and black colors switched on the Competition seats might be far better! Personally I think a Sea Wolf Gray exterior with orange stripes and orange,,,,errr Habanero…. Competition seats…..might rock.
Like to see it with the Sebring Orange exterior…too see if it works…and the competition seats to get away from that shaky dirty look. Bit too much orange on the door panels…..
