We already saw the photos of the 2025 Corvette Z06 Convertible in the new Hysteria Purple Metallic at the M1 Concourse for the Corvettes at Woodward event, thanks to both our Detroit Bureau Steve Burns and Rick Conti. Now, we have bit of video to go with it.
Velocity 313 on YouTube captured Corvette Product Manager Harlan Charles as well as fellow GM’er Kim Hunt arriving in this 2025 Z06 captured test fleet (CTF) Corvette. I know we’ve shared this specific car twice already, but this color is just so unique (and because I happen to be waiting to order a Hysteria E-Ray), that it bears taking several different looks at it, especially in challenging lighting conditions.
This new 2025 Corvette Z06 Convertible is spied in the sun, and we really like how looks like Indigo Blue in the sunlight. The car is outfitted with the Z07 ground effects and rear wing, and of course it’s wearing the new 10-spoke Z06 wheels with the carbon flash “pockets.”

I have found the feedback of Hysteria to be mostly positive and we are seeing more and more comments on the forums and Facebook groups of those who after seeing the color, are saying they are a fan of it. Yes, there will be some that think Chevy’s paint gurus should have gone more purple or violet, but it is what it is. We’re just hoping to finally see it for ourselves at Corvettes at Carlisle!

That is a pretty Blue C8, because it sure as hell isn’t purple.
That color looks great on the C8 Z06, and the style of wheels goes perfect with it. I think it will be a popular color choice among the Corvette community and I’m looking forward to seeing these on the road, and next car show.
