[VIDEO] First Twin-Turbo 2024 Corvette E-Ray Hits the Drag Strip and Runs in the 9s

A couple of weeks ago we heard that Boost District was in the process of turbocharging the new 2024 Corvette E-Ray. While the first video we watched was about getting some initial dyno numbers for the car, the twin-turbo kit has now been installed and the twin-turbo E-Ray has already made its first quarter mile runs.

Roshan of Boost District also brought out his supercharged C8 Corvette Stingray to the test, but it’s the E-Ray we are most interested in. The turbos were mounted down low, and we can see the plumbing as the car makes several launches. According to a social media post, the E-Ray received the Boost District ETS Twin Turbo kit, and they installed a heavy-duty clutch, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering pistons and a direct injection fuel pump. The stock computer was also unlocked and calibrated. The E-Ray still retains its stock cam, heads, cats, and stock PS4S tires.

We watch a couple of launches without times, and then we see Roshan picking up his first time slip. He says the car first ran at 9.85 seconds at 148 mph before setting the E-Ray record quarter mile time of 9.741 seconds at 152.99 mph. On that run his time slip shows his 60 ft was 1.78.

We also see the Stingray getting some track action as the car wheelies at the beginning of the run and it ran 9.6 seconds at 143 mph which beat his previous best of 9.97 seconds at 146 MPH.

Roshan doesn’t tell us what the power level of the E-Ray is with the twin-turbo set up, but the video description claims 1,000 horsepower. Their C8 Corvette Twin Turbo packages start at $21,250 installed and tuned.

  1. Cup2 or Hoosiers and a traction bar, and this will probably hit low 9’s without any other mods.

  2. 21g is a lot of money for a street car.If you are a race fanatic and spend a lot of time at the track and have 21g to spend, god bless you!But a stock Eray should be enough for street use!

  3. New Balance crew in the comment section. Every C8 needs these twin turbos. ZO6 should have got them from the factory.
