[VIDEO] Meet the #1 Used Corvette Salesman in the World

We all know our good buddy Mike Furman has sold more than 6,000 new Corvettes over his long career that dates back to the ’70s.

But there’s another salesman who deserves recognition for his service to the used Corvette market.

YouTuber Mike Brink of the Brink of Speed channel pays tribute to the man he deems “the #1 Used Corvette Salesman in the World!” in his latest video – Corvette World Rob in Dallas, Texas.

If you’ve been looking at Corvette content on YouTube, you’ve no doubt seen Mike and Rob doing an inventory walk-through at the Corvette World store where Rob works. Indeed, even though we’re not in the market for another Corvette right now, we look forward to seeing these videos and checking out all the awesome Corvettes available there.

Rob isn’t just a Corvette salesman, though. Since 2022 at Bloomington Gold, he has owned a ’92 black-on-black coupe (though he’s currently trying to sell it) that is identical to his dad’s first Corvette, only a year newer. He traces his love for Corvettes to his dad, and both father and son picked up their first Corvettes at the same age of 39.

In the video, Mike offers us a closer look at what led Rob to Corvette World, where he has been working for the past eight years. After a nine-year stint in the military, he had plans to enter law enforcement but wound up instead selling cars at a couple of dealerships before winding up at his current job. It’s a decision he hasn’t regretted, noting that he has worked his way from “literally full-blown abstract poverty into an acceptable middle-class living.”

His most memorable customer, he says, has actually been Mike Brink, who met Rob on a wild test ride that grew into their close relationship on the Brink of Speed channel. Now Rob has even started his own YouTube channel called Corvette World Dallas, where he takes a deeper dive into some of the Corvettes available at the dealership.

Being a salesman at Corvette World has turned into a passion for Rob. “I can’t make every customer happy, but if I can make 99 percent of my customers happy and have a wonderful experience, especially if they’re getting their first Corvette, I try to do so,” Rob says.
