When Chevrolet first revealed the 2024 Corvette E-Ray, they used the tagline “One Like None” to make the point about the performance hybrid’s unique front motor that offers All-Wheel Drive on the Corvette for the first time ever. To help prepare dealers to sell and service the new Corvette model, Chevrolet will be hosting a round of training sessions at the National Corvette Museum’s NCM Motorsports Park starting in March and running into April.

The training will consist of classroom sessions to go over detailed product information and the delivery process for both the E-Ray and the Z06, and the driving portions of the training on the track will most likely share the blistering quickness of the E-Ray’s acceleration from a stop thanks to the new AWD setup.

Chevrolet held a top-level dealers meeting last October in Las Vegas, and participants could watch the new E-Ray drag race a Ferrari F8 at the Las Vegas Speedway, so perhaps they will have a similar set up:

Chevrolet has previously held off-site trainings for dealers and service techs on their new Corvettes, with the last one occurring for the launch of the C8 Corvette Stingray. To become a certified Corvette dealer of the C8, dealers had to send both a sales specialist and a service technician to Spring Mountain for training, while dealers also needed to purchase nearly $1500 in specific tools to service the new car. We are told that dealership tool requirements for the E-Ray will cost only $250, but the specific item(s) haven’t been made public.

Our friends at the MidEngineCorvetteForum.com got hold of the E-Ray Training Agenda so you can see what the training session entails.

Chevrolet Dealers,

We are excited to announce that in-person, 1.5-day Corvette Academy will return in March at the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, KY. As new Corvette variants enter the market, it is critical that your dealership have knowledgeable sales and service specialists ready to deliver the world-class customer experience that your customers will expect.

NOTE: Certification prior to January 2024 (conducted either at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Pahrump, NV or in conjunction with Chevrolet’s Find New Roads Experience in 2021) does not satisfy the updated training requirement. To meet this updated requirement, dealers must enroll in, and send a designated Corvette Sales Specialist to an upcoming session in Bowling Green.

Program components:

• Learning Modules:
     • Corvette Story – History, Architecture, Ride and Handling, Design Elements and Utility
     • Corvette Delivery – Delivery Checklist for a Memorable Delivery Experience
     • Powertrain and Trims – Engine, Dual-Clutch Transmission, E-Ray, and Z06 Track Prep
         • Z06 Performance & Customization
         • Electrified E-Ray All Wheel Drive & Powertrain
• Track Drives:
     • E-Ray Acceleration & Autocross
     • Drive Modes
     • Z06 Fast Lap

In addition to learning and driving experiences, participants will be offered a tour of the National Corvette Museum with an evening reception.

  • (1) Sales Specialist is required per Corvette Participation Agreement guidelines

  1. My 2 dealerships need to send their reps to sales training. Idiots. Call my 2 cell phones and house, email, or send letters every day trying to sell me a new C8 and trade my priceless C7 GS M7 for nothing.

  2. A humble suggestion for Chevrolet and the sales ecosystem: draft a comprehensive list of all the dealerships in the states that CAN sell an E-Ray as to avoid fishing for them instead.
