Corvettes for Sale: Brink of Speed is Selling His Custom 2023 Corvette Stingray Convertible

Anyone who keeps up with the C8 Corvette on YouTube knows all about the Brink of Speed and his passion for Chevy’s legendary sports car.

Mike makes a living with his posts about his cars, including this 2023 Corvette Stingray 3LT convertible that fans have watched over the past 10 months be transformed into a “truly … one-of-one” vehicle.

Coming up with fresh content means he can’t rest on his laurels, though, and Mike announced Monday in a YouTube post that he’s reluctantly auctioning off his Ceramic Matrix Gray over Sky Cool Gray Corvette on Pcarmarket.com to make room for another Corvette, a 2024 E-Ray. (He’s also selling his 2023 Camaro SS to free up some cash, which will be helpful since after 17 years of marriage, he and his wife are expecting a baby boy in the next few months.)

So far, the high bid has hit $85,000, with the auction slated to end on Friday, but we’re sure he hopes to get much more than that, especially considering that his exact build spec these days for a ’24 model would be $98,515.

The new owner will get one nicely optioned car, with well over $10,000 in factory options, including the 3LT equipment group with a custom leather-wrapped interior, GT2 bucket seats, sueded microfiber-wrapped upper interior trim, Head-Up Display, a video recorder, a Bose Audio system, and more.

Besides the factory equipment, this Stingray has also been tastefully customized at a cost exceeding $12k, including ACS Composite spoilers and side rockers, a fully customized graphics package from STG Wraps, ForgedLite MC5 wheels, an R1 Concepts full brake kit, Paragon Performance lowering springs, and much more.

Additionally, the windshield has a 55% tint and the side and rear windows have a 20% tint from Expel XR Plus ceramic film by Executive Tint Design. Detail Lab TX conducted a full paint correction along with UndrDog ceramic coating and the full rear taillight is covered in stealth film by Paragon Performance. Aftermarket staggered-width ForgedLite MC5 20″/21″ aircraft-grade aluminum alloy wheels in Carbon Flash Metallic have been mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Screen Protech film has been added to protect the infotainment and gauge cluster screens.

Other modifications include an R1 Concepts full brake kit with slotted and drilled rotors and carbon ceramic pads as well as Paragon Performance C8 lowering collars and springs which lower the stance by 1.75 inches.

It all adds up to a very special Corvette, one that’s sure to draw plenty of attention anytime it’s on the road or even sitting still.

“You could buy any C8, but none of them will make you feel the way this C8 makes you feel,” Mike says. “Imagine the looks your friends, family, and strangers will give with a normal C8. Times that by a million with this one!”

He’s definitely enjoyed getting those looks for 4,900 miles with his Corvette and admits it “will be hard to part with for sure.”

Will you be the next YouTube star behind the wheel of this 2023 Corvette?

Update
Congratulations to Mike. The final bid on this Corvette was $102,250 and it has officially been sold.

  1. This guy is all about self promotion as evident by the wrap. Even his car has to scream self promotion. I would never pay 85k for that spec car (NO MAG RIDE AND NON Z51), especially not if a YouTuber owned it. Hopefully whatever person was dumb enough to bid 85k on it is ready to remove the “POS” logo off the side first.

  2. Depends on your definition of tastefully. This doesn’t meet mine. Pimpmobile is closer to what I would describe for it. But then, I never liked this guy.

  3. Definitely couldn’t be parked at my mistress’s house without someone recognizing that car. Hard pass

  4. This Guy is all bout getting FREE stuff. If he already has, or doesn’t want it, he gives it to his neighbor Mark. This type of stuff just increases the cost to all of us. Nothing is free, the supplies just mark up the prices on the just of us. I quite watching him, it’s all about him, getting FREE stuff.

  5. I love seeing all the boomers hating on Mikes car. 1st off, you cant afford it, 2nd its not for you. I wont get it as Im getting a Z06 or ZR1 and no Z51 w/mag ride on his car. Other than that its a killer deal. Tons of add-on and the wrap is easily removed. You wussies and whiners need to STFU and be happy that someone will get a corvette and stop hating!!

Are NOT corvette enthusiasts? Just be happy that someone is getting a sweet 70th car with TONS of options, even if its not your style. Just be encouraging. FFS people.

Oh by the way, Mike is in high tech and is probably smarter than most of us here. If you dont like his content, skip it then. Goto Rick Conti where the boomers go. But do not goto Streetspeed717 as you will really hate his give aways and mods. Also watch Speed Phenom as he drives these beasts on track like they are supposed to.

Everybody has a option, doesnt mean its right.

Cool thing about AMERICA is the constitution. We have free speech & section 230 protects the corvetteblogger from lawsuits.

  6. Also, the BOS wrap makes the car a tax write off as its his business advertising. So yeah, think on that.

  7. It’s a Corvette not a Lambo or Porsche which hold value. It’s just a kit installed to make it look racy!
