[VIDEO] 2023 Corvette Z06 Brings the Heat Against a Tesla Model 3 at the Drag Strip

It used to be that you would come across a video of a Corvette vs a Tesla at the drag strip, and you wouldn’t even have to watch it to know the outcome. The EV’s instant torque would make up for any weight and power differences as the Corvette would struggle for grip. But today, the modern ICE cars including the 2023 Corvette Z06 are packing a lot more performance than they used to be, and not all Tesla’s you see at the track these days are Plaid editions, so let the games begin!

Here’s an owner of a 2023 Corvette Z06 getting in some racing action that was captured by the Wheels YouTube channel and his first victim opponent is a Tesla Model 3. The driver of the Z06 steps right up to the burnout box and competently spins the wheels for some heat before creeping up to the starting line. Once the light turns green though, the Corvette Z06 driver appears to bog on the launch but all is good as he regroups and takes the win with a time of 11.33 @ 125.42 MPH vs 11.54 @ 116.01 mph.

The Corvette Z06 driver’s next two opponents include a Chevy Sport Truck and a Dodge Challenger. We won’t spoil those outcomes for you so check out those battles for quarter-mile supremecy below:
