One of the areas we often overlook on custom Corvettes can be the underside of the hood. Generally, if the hood is up, we’re checking out the powerplant hiding below. However, don’t forget to turn you head for even more Corvette bling.
Over the recent years, we’ve noticed that the underside of Corvette hoods have become an increasingly popular location to add some personalization for Corvette owners. The opportunities here are endless just like every other location on our cars.
Under hood mods can range from simple mirrors all the way out wild airbrushed creations. No matter what you’re into, you’ll probably see it on someone’s hood. During our time at Carlisle last week we once spotted many great examples of under hood art.
While checking out the 3000+ cars on site it was hard to pick a favorite. We love the simplicity of a clean Stingray or Z06 logo, but can also appreciate all the work that goes into a flaming skull motif complemented by an American Flag Corvette logo.
Keep dressing up those under hoods, Corvette Nation and we’ll keep featuring them here. Have a favorite that you spotted at Carlisle? Have some cool art on your Corvette hood? If so, head on over to our Facebook page and post up what you’ve got.
Now enjoy our gallery of under hood art from the 2023 Corvettes at Carlisle show.
