[POLL] What will the Price Increase be for the 2024 Corvette?

As we inch closer to the start of the 2024 Corvette model year, many are believing that next year’s Corvettes will come with a healthy price increase. 2024 will be the fifth year of production for the Corvette Stingray and the second year for the Z06, along with the introduction of the new 2024 Corvette E-Ray.

There are a lot of reasons to believe a price increase are coming. Outside pressures like inflation, higher fuel costs, and supply chain issues are still very prevalent, while customer demand for new Corvettes still shows no signs of backing off.

For the 2024 model year, the Stingray and Z06 are both getting a bunch of new mandatory safety features which required additional testing and validation as we have documented previously. There is also a lot of new content coming to the cars via the soft-close frunk, new Google-based infotainment, and the rear view camera mirror becoming standard. We’ve also got new wheels for the Stingray, new stripes, a convertible engine appearance package, and a two-post spoiler in carbon fiber.

Chevrolet has traditionally instituted modest price increases across the board by raising the MSRP on each of the trim levels, while also targeting price increases on popular options. Over the four years of Stingray production, we’ve seen the base price of the Stingray goes from $59,995 to the current $65,895 while popular options like Front Lift was increased from $1,400 to $2,595.

However, Chevrolet is also on track to produce a mind-blowing 50,000+ C8s in 2023 and there is no signs of slowing down in 2024. That’s a huge amount of vehicles to amortize any cost adjustments against, so the price increases could be smaller because there are a lot more cars being produced to spread those costs around.

For the purpose of this poll, we thought we would focus on the MSRP and ask what you peeps think the rate of a general across-the-board increase would be, and we’re going to keep it easy:

  1. I’m glad the rearview camera will now be standard. I will go ahead and order my 1lt coupe now they finally got that together….

  2. I already purchased a new 2023 Corvette Z06 picked a new color (G48 – Caffeine Metallic) which has already been discontinued as well, but I like it. I ordered far in advance and apparently got the first 23/Z06 in the Pacific NW. I am just completing the breakin process.

    The car is very enjoyable at brake in speeds. My only complaint is the very faint ticking noise which has been noted. I will let Chevrolette fix that this winter when the weather gets wet in the pacific NW. So far I have have not had any rain to drive it in, but that is just about to radically change up here:>}
