As this is the first full week of June, we were expecting Chevrolet dealers to receive their allocation numbers and constraints today as part of the final order cycle for the 2023 Corvette Stingray, but that didn’t happen.

So we reached out to a few friends in the business who told us it looks like the final order cycle of the Stingrays will actually happen on June 22nd. Assuming that is the case, we think the final order cycle for the Z06s will most likely happen one week later on June 29th.

We did learn something new today and that has to do with the rollout of info for the 2024 models in July. It was back in April that Chevy told dealers the 2024 model year will start on September 5th and dealers were also told that the 2024 Corvette Order Guide will drop on July 10th, and the Build Your Own Configurator with pricing will go live on July 18th.

Our friend and Chevy rep Rick Conti added to that news today and says that the 1st 2024 Allocations and Order Cycle will begin on July 27th. Now, we don’t know if that will be for all three models, Stingray, Z06, and E-Ray, or if it’s just Stingray, with the other models to follow after. That would seem likely based on how Chevy has broken up ordering into two separate cycles for the 2023 models.

  1. C8s are everywhere. Went to a Cars and Coffee Last weekend and there were 30+ C8s (guys wearing their nifty Corvette jackets) and just a few older Corvettes, yet the dealers are all sold out with ridiculous pricing schemes.

  2. You got that right. I was cruising in the middle of a 3 lane blvd in my 1987 Buick Grand National. A red C8 went blasting around me on the left, then cut across to the right lane. At the traffic light I had the left lane. A pickup truck rolled into the empty middle lane. 3 guys stuck their heads out the driver’s side window of the truck to yell: “nice car dude!, looks awesome!” The truck moved up. A Mercedes sedan took it’s place. This guy yelled: “do you want to sell it?” NObody paid any attention to the red C8 on the right… That’s got to be somewhat depressing for the average white leather loafer, country club C8 owner looking for attention.

  3. Trying to put down the C8 vette and its owners is just childish. Many people wear clothing representing the cars they drive, so I’m not sure why you’re pointing at he C8 owners. I’m sure the guy in the C8 could care less about people yelling at him about his car, too bad you couldn’t buy a GNX.
