[VIDEO] C8 Corvette Stingray Receives Install of a Quad-Center Exhaust System

C8 Corvette Stingray owners have a ton of choices these days when it comes to selecting an aftermarket exhaust system. While previously the hardest decision to make was finding just the right sound you wanted, today it’s also about the layout. When upgrading your exhaust, owners can go with another corner-mounted exhaust system or you can give your C8 Stingray the same look of the new C8 Z06 with a quad-center exhaust.

We recently came across this video of a shop in California called SOS Customz who filmed this install of a quad-center exhaust system. The name of this exhaust is called the “LeMans Edition” and not only does it sound great, but it looks great as well with a custom center bezel and two side inserts to cover the holes left by the OEM pipes on each corner.

Constructed from T-304 Stainless Steel, owners can choose between an aggressive straight-pipe track version or a street version that comes with its own catback mufflers, while also being able to select the 4-inch tips in either polished stainless steel or black. The LeMans Edition exhaust will also give you a gain of up to 20-horsepower while helping you shed 50 pounds of weight over the OEM system.

In this install video, it looks like the customer has selected the straight-pipe Track version and the techs go through the process of removing the rear facia on the car as well as the trunk liner and the airbox so the OEM system can be removed. According to the techs working on this Stingray, that’s the hardest part of the install. The new system pretty much bolts into place although there is some cutting and drilling on the original rear fascia.

Once installed, the Corvette’s owner is shown hitting the remote start and getting his first start up with the LeMans Exhaust in place.

SOS Customz has previously worked on TJ Hunt’s StreetHunter widebody build for SEMA 2021, so check out their YouTube channel for additional Corvette customizations and some other cool builds.
