The National Corvette Museum’s Skydome is getting a new look, but it’s only temporary.
According to a post on Twitter, the Skydome is being resealed and then will be repainted in its original color:
The National Corvette Museum is resealing the Skydome to help protect the building and our collection. At the end of the process, the Skydome will be returned to its original color and appearance. This process may take a few weeks.

Although we sort of like the temporary “Steel Cities Gray” look, we think a new coat of paint on the nearly 30-year-old Skydome will give it a freshened up look for the Summer cruising and car show season. But with it now being Primer Gray, is there an alternate color you would like to see on the Skydome?
