Give Your C8 Stingray a Pair of Z06-Styled Side Rockers

One of the fun aspects of owning a Corvette is the ability to make changes to the car so that it fits your unique style. We’ve often said that “A new Corvette is a blank canvas just waiting for its owner to build his/her masterpiece,” and our friends at ACS Composite offer a great starting point with high quality parts and accessories for the C8 Corvette.

C8 Z06 Side Rocker for Stingray

On the new C8 Corvette Z06, everything is bigger and that starts with the aero. ACS Composite’s new C8 Z06 Rockers for Stingray replicate the same design of the C8 Corvette Z06’s side rockers for your C8 Stingray. These are nearly two inches wider than the OEM Z51 Rockers, and they cover 3/4ths of the side of the car. Finished in Carbon Flash Metallic, the rockers show a notch design and beveled edge like those on the Z06. The larger Z06 Rocker enhances the stance and side profile of the Stingray, and it looks like it absolutely belongs on the car.


ACS Composite manufactures its side rockers using its proprietary PC Composite material that is injected into metal molds. The molds ensure each rocker is perfect right out of the box. PC Composite material is a great fit for the Corvette aero as it’s lightweight but very strong, and the black material hides scrapes and impacts from rock chips. You will also get the added benefit of additional rock chip protection with the wider design of the Z06 rockers over the OEM Z51 rockers. The C8 Stingray Z06 Side Rockers are finished in a matching Carbon Flash Metallic Black and will match the rest of the C8’s trim pieces.


ACS Composite offers an installation video in which you can see how the C8 Z06 Rockers are installed on the C8 Corvette Stingray and how they look once in place. The rockers share the same mounting holes as the OEM Z51 side rocker, and the install process uses six rivets per side and double-sided tape to hold it in place. C8 Stingray 1VM Front Splitter


Are you still going without a front splitter on your 2020-2023 Corvette Stingray despite the fact that the C8 Stingray was made with aerodynamics in mind? ACS Composite offers more choices for C8 front splitters than anyone and one of our favorites for the base-level car is the ACS 1VM Front Splitter which offers a sleek and more stealthy appearance than the OEM Z51 splitter.


The 1VM is a one-piece splitter that looks nearly identical to the 5VM splitter except it has no winglets, just a small riser on each side as it tucks around the corner of the C8 Stingray. ACS Composite says the 1VM was designed to slot between the Stingray’s Z51 splitter and the 5VM version with its winglets. The 1VM gives you the same width and ground clearance as the other ACS C8 splitters and it’s a one-piece design as well.


ACS Composite manufactures the 1VM front splitter from their PC Composite material. This material is suited well for front splitters as the black molded material offers extreme resistance to rock chips and scrapes. The splitter is finished in the same Carbon Flash Metallic paint is used on all C8 Corvette accents including the front grill, rear diffuser, and more.
