Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for Oct 30th

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Another week has passed, and October 2022 is nearly in our rearview mirror. The fall brings cooler temps and shorter days, but that doesn’t seem to damper the excitement of these happy customers picking up the new Corvette rides. We see several this week went bold with a Black exterior and the new Adrenaline Red interior, so make sure you check those out. ~March of 2014 is when I put up $1,000 x 3 for three C8 Corvette deal folders and January of 2015 is when I did likewise for two C8 Higher HP Corvettes ( we now know as the Z06). Just pure speculation but after selling Corvettes for what is my 5th generation of Corvettes you get smart or as I like to quote “ Chance favors the prepared mind!” I have long known this allocation system is a process and I expect engineering and design hiccups along the way, heck I welcome it because I would prefer the finished product to be finished when the first retail vehicles get dispersed Nationwide. GM invited me to the C8 Corvette reveal (Tustin, CA) as their guest and I was able to invite two customers and let me tell you, calling Kenny Berg and Jeremy Welborn to tell them they had invites to the C8 reveal was pure joy for me to do. Then last year at this time GM invited me as their guest to the C8 Z06 reveal (LA, CA) and I was able to extend three invites to three of my customers and the calls went out to John Elegant, Keith Cornett and Jeremy Welborn. I applaud GM for engineering this soon to be released Supercar known as the Z06, especially during these trying times that the world has lived through these last few years. There have been Herculean efforts by all of GM and all their parts suppliers etc but at the end of the day as my Father would say “ This too shall pass”. The Sun will shine and the Truckloads of Z06’s will start leaving the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green, KY when they are good and ready. I’ve said from day one that I would rather they stay at the plant until the Green flag is waved and I could care less how many months it takes for the powers that be at GM to decide on a proper release date. Sit back, relax and before you know it the Z06 will be announced as the worlds next Supercar coming to a Chevrolet dealership near you. I walked with Tadge Juechter to the Petersen Automotive Museum just before the big Z06 reveal and I never asked him one Corvette question. I trust Tadge and his team and that they know exactly what they are doing and their plan never included Covid or a Tornado hitting Bowling Green…but they persevered and adjusted as they always do so patience will be rewarded. Stay tuned as the C8 Z06 will be well worth the wait.

~C8 Corvette Deliveries for the Week

~Fernando Z. of Johnson City, Tennessee factory ordered his Black 2023 Corvette Z51 coupe from me and this past Saturday he had the red carpet rolled it for him and his friends at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Equipment list: 1LT pkg, Z51, Sky cool gray seats, black forged aluminum wheels, and more.

~Chris H. of Rockville, Maryland factory ordered an Elkhart Lake Blue 2023 Corvette Z51 convertible with Sky cool gray interior and sterling silver dual stripes. Sharp color combo, that is for sure. This morning he drove off with his Blue Beauty!

~Larry and Arlene P. of Fairfax, Virginia have owned many Corvettes since the 1960’s and today they added another to the 5 currently stored at their home. Special order for their 2023 Corvette convertible pairs Silver Flare metallic with Natural dipped interior and body color accents and it looks dynamite. I look forward to seeing this Corvette in the bright ?? Sun as it will pop. ~Mitch and Lynda C. of Orting, Washington factory ordered their new Carbon Flash 70th anniversary Corvette Z51 coupe from me and I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery at their local Chevrolet dealership in Enumclaw, WA. Fully loaded and sequential vin#686 of the 70th Anniversary editions built for 2023. They didn’t let the 2,800 miles between us stop them from ordering their special Corvette from me at Criswell Chevrolet of Gaithersburg, MD.

~George C. of Kansas City, Missouri factory ordered his Black 2023 Corvette Convertible with Adrenaline Red dipped interior and boy does it POP!?? I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery at his local Chevrolet dealership in Kansas City, MO. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, chrome badges, front lift, bright red calipers, spectra gray wheels, and more!

~Darrel M. of Grants Pass, Oregon factory ordered from me a Red Mist metallic with Natural dipped interior 2023 Corvette coupe and I had it drop shipped for courtesy delivery at his local Chevrolet dealership in Ashland, Oregon. This color combo is one of my favorites and it really is cool to see in the bright sun. Equipment list: 3LT pkg, body color accents, chrome badges, front lift, magnetic select ride, performance exhaust and low rear spoiler.

~Jack I. of Saddle River, New Jersey replaced his Maserati w/his new Black with Adrenaline dipped interior 2023 Corvette Convt. . We completed the paperwork via Fed Ex and Plycar enclose trailered his new ride to his Saddle River home. I received his confirmation after his first ride and he was blown away at the new mid engine Corvette. Jack and his brother wrestled at Penn State just after I wrestled/graduated at U of Maryland…many moons ago!

~Tim B. Of Arnold, Maryland factory ordered his dream Corvette, a fully loaded 70th Anniversary 2023 Corvette Convertible in White Pearl Metallic! He also ordered the Competition seats as he wanted the interior combo flipped just like my Corvette. This morning he completed the paperwork and trailered it back to his Maryland home near Annapolis. Matches up well with his 2022 C8R Corvette.
