[VIDEO] Guy Gets to Ride in a 2023 Corvette Z06 Around the GM RenCen

I caught this ride-along video from a post on Corvette Forum, and I have to agree with one of the members that this is a strange ride-along, especially in lieu of the embargo that is keeping the opinions of those who have driven the car under wraps until the pre-appointed time.

I’m guessing GM is offering rides in the Z06 from the Detroit Auto Show, and the driver was simply hired to follow a preplanned route down along the river, driving past the GM Renaissance Center, and then circle back to the auto show. The guy catching the ride is a C7 owner and seems to know the car better than the driver, who admitted to owning a Mustang.

On the plus side, you get to ride along in a 2023 Corvette Z06 for 10 minutes, so we’ll call that a win.
