What you are looking at here is the front fascia of the 2023 Corvette Z06, complete with the visible carbon fiber splitter, canards, and even has the exposed carbon fiber grille inserts which have never spied before in public. I had received an email yesterday telling me about this unique piece of “garage art” and asking if I knew anybody interested in buying it.
Since that first email, I learned that several photos of it are now posted on the MidEngineCorvetteForum.com.
This isn’t the first time a preproduction Z06 part has been offered for sale before the car is even finished. We first learned about the Z06 having visible carbon fiber wheels two years ago thanks to an eBay auction that offered the set of four Z06 Carbon Revolution wheels for sale. GM swooped in on that sale and was able to get their wheels back.
Regardless of how the front Z06 fascia was originally acquired, we can now see how the visible carbon fiber grill will be integrated into the front fascia. These are somewhat similar to the carbon fiber grille inserts offered on the C8 Stingray that cost $2,125 when ordered (LPO RZ9) with the car, so we are expecting a similar price for these Z06 versions.
We did notice that the dive planes (canards) were only carbon flash and not visible carbon fiber. Does that make this fascia a factory reject? Or do we have just another part that fell off the back of a truck somewhere and into the open arms of someone who saw the value in it? I guess we’ll never know for sure. Still kinda cool to own a piece of the Z06 before you can buy one.

Looks like the facia is already broken. Dumpster diving?? lol Maybe, as you said, it fell.
This fascia was being used to check fitment between parts from various suppliers. It’s not the way it is installed on the car. That fascia is prepainted before all that other stuff goes on. I can guarantee you GM Security WILL find out how it got out to the public

Stop it’s art not even a real piece. Good wall art.
Looks very CHEAP especially on a beautiful car, like already mentioned TRASH.
A clear bra would be much smarter and wouldn’t take away the looks of the car.
BUT some fool will buy it then wished he/she hadn’t after friends start laughing at the car.
Interesting; but, until the rear-end is fixed, it will always be one of the ugliest cars on the road!
