A Youtuber named Sinister Coyote 5.0 captured this walk-around video showing a Hypersonic Gray 2023 Corvette Z06 with a manufacturer license plate parked somewhere unknown on a recent cold and rainy evening. The photographer spends a good amount of time circling the C8Z which had the full Z07 Performance Package with the exception of the older corner-mounted exhaust.
After it seems like he was wrapping up the video, he returned and took a closer look at the corner-mounted exhaust. And we are glad he did stick around longer as the video then cuts and shows the Corvette backing up and then leaving the area.
Now that we’ve become accustomed to the Z06’s signature sound, I can see why we were confused earlier when hearing the LT6’s exhaust note through the standard Stingray exhaust instead of the center-mounted exhaust with the quad parabolic exhaust tips that really lets the 670-hp engine sing.
As for the assumptions that the corner-mounted exhaust means that the car could be an E-Ray or Grand Sport or something other than a Z06, I would say no as the Z06-specific carbon fiber wheels and aero kit make us believe this is just an older powertrain mule that still has some usefulness for testing even without the signature exhaust set-up.

I love how the underside of that wing looks to be illuminated at night with the tail lights on.
What a friggen awesome car, I bet you don’t see any Lambos, Italian Stallions or over priced German stuff out in the nasty weather. Can’t wait to see one in the flesh.
